Without much fanfare, vivo has unveiled its mid-range smartphone, the vivo V70 Lite. The device is now available in the United Arab Emirates and offers the same features and familiar design as its predecessor. One of the few changes is a higher-clocked chipset.

The vivo V70 Lite is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Turbo chip, which replaces the Dimensity 7360 SoC of the V60 Lite. As the names suggest, the chips are very similar. The only difference lies in the ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores: the 7400 clocks at 2.6 GHz, while the 7360 runs at 2.5 GHz. The new smartphone also features 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Otherwise, the device offers the same core specifications. These include a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The panel achieves a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and features a 32-megapixel front camera in a cutout as well as an optical fingerprint scanner.

The back of the vivo smartphone features a 50 MP main camera (IMX882) with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The battery has a capacity of 6,500 mAh and supports 90W wired charging. It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
