Samsung’s rumored foldable widescreen smartphone, known in tech circles as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide, is expected to launch in July. The device has already appeared in several leaks, revealing its design and key technical specifications.

A hands-on video has surfaced online showing a dummy device of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide. The video comes from the well-known tipster Sonny Dickson.

The leaked video shows the alleged Samsung foldable in white. While mock-ups don’t perfectly represent the actual product, the device appears slim. Also visible are the two rear cameras, the power and volume buttons, and the USB-C port.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide or Galaxy Z Fold8

Recent leaks and rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold Wide could actually be called Galaxy Z Fold8, while the regular tall foldable smartphone and successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7 could be called Z Fold8 Ultra.

Rumors suggest it will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and will run on the current One UI 9. The Galaxy phone is also said to feature a 4,800 mAh battery and a 7.6-inch internal display in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
