Xiaomi recently held a launch event in China, where the Xiaomi 17 Max premiered. But that wasn’t the only new device unveiled. The latest addition to the smart band series, the Xiaomi Band 10 Pro, as well as Xiaomi’s first wireless clip-on earbuds, were also presented.

Xiaomi Band 10 Pro

The Xiaomi Band 10 Pro is the successor to the Smart Band 9 Pro from 2024 and offers numerous improvements, including improved health monitoring sensors, more reliable sleep monitoring, and a new cycling mode.

Xiaomi has equipped the Band 10 Pro with a new dual-light PPD sensor that promises up to 98.2% accuracy in heart rate measurement. Additionally, Xiaomi offers support for heart rate variability (HRV) during sleep, as well as a new Sleep Algorithm 2.0 for more precise sleep data.

In terms of activity tracking, the Xiaomi smartwatch offers over 150 different modes. For ambitious cyclists, there’s a new training mode with more precise statistics. The watch can also measure your fatigue level during workouts.

The Xiaomi Band 10 Pro features a 1.74-inch, 2.5D curved AMOLED screen (60 Hz) with a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, compared to 1,200 nits for the Band 9 Pro.

The standard version is made of a 9.7 mm thin aluminum alloy and weighs just over 21 grams without the strap. Xiaomi also offers a higher-quality ceramic version that weighs only about 8 grams more than the standard version.

Regardless of which model you choose, you’ll get water resistance up to 5 ATM, so you can also track your indoor swims. The software is based on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, and the version sold in China offers NFC connectivity and the ability to use the wristband as a car key. The battery life is up to 21 days, just like its predecessor.

Price

The Xiaomi Band 10 Pro is available from 399 CNY (51 Euro/59 US Dollar) for the aluminum version, while the higher-quality ceramic version costs 479 CNY (61 Euro/70 US Dollar). The manufacturer has not yet confirmed an international launch.

Xiaomi Clip-on Earbuds

Alongside the Smart Band 10 Pro, Xiaomi also unveiled its first open-back earbuds with a clip-on design. The Xiaomi Clip-on Earbuds feature 11mm drivers and are available in black, white, and gold. Each earbud weighs 5.5 grams and is equipped with Xiaomi’s Xiao Ai voice assistant, enabling translations and voice recording directly on the device.

The Xiaomi Clip-on Earbuds have a battery life of 9 hours, which increases to 38 hours with the charging case. Like the Xiaomi Band 10 Pro, the clip-on earbuds are compatible with Apple devices and support Apple’s “Find My” network. They are also IP57-rated for water resistance.

Price

The Xiaomi Clip-on Earbuds cost 799 CNY (101 €/115 US dollars). Whether they will be available internationally remains to be seen.
