Lenovo is making its return to the smartphone market with the Legion Y70 (2026). The Chinese brand hasn’t released a smartphone under its own name since the Y90 in 2022. The Lenovo Legion Y70 is a gaming smartphone with solid specifications and an impressive 8,000 mAh battery with 90-watt charging and bypass charging capabilities.
The Legion Y70 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, operating at speeds of up to 9,600 Mbit/s. It also features 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage and a 5,500 mm² vapor chamber that can reduce the CPU core temperature by 7 °C.
The battery performance is also impressive. The Legion Y70 features an 8,000 mAh battery with 90-watt charging and bypass charging support. Lenovo specifies a battery life of two days and a lifespan of 7 years or 1,200 charge cycles.

The Lenovo Legion Y70’s 6.8-inch OLED display boasts a fast 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 7,000 nits, and Dolby Vision support. The camera setup includes a 50MP wide-angle camera (1/1.56 inch) with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture that can focus as close as 2.5 cm, and a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.
Lenovo is offering the Legion Y70 for pre-order starting at 3,099 CNY (390 €/450 USD). Available colors are Ice Soul White and Carbon Black, and storage options include 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, 16/512 GB, and 1 TB/512 GB.
