Sony Xperia 1 VIII leaked in all colors

With only one day left until the launch of the Sony Xperia 1 VIII, the leaks keep coming. The latest images show what appear to be official renderings of the device in three color variants.

The Sony Xperia 1 VIII will be available at launch in graphite black, ionite silver, and garnet red. Rumors suggest there will also be an exclusive gold version.

The design matches previously leaked CAD renderings (second gallery), which show a fundamental redesign of the camera unit with three sensors. According to current rumors, Sony is using a 16mm ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 24mm main sensor, and a 70mm telephoto sensor. The telephoto sensor is rumored to be between 1/3.0 inch and 1/2.0 inch in size.
Sony Xperia 1 VIII continues to use a 3.5 mm headphone jack
Aside from the redesigned back, Sony remains true to its tradition and continues to use a tall, narrow 6.5-inch OLED display with the usual bezels at the top and bottom. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is also still present, as already confirmed by FCC filings.
Sony’s top-of-the-line model is expected to be available in Germany starting at €1,800 and in the UK starting at £1,700. These prices reportedly include a pair of Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones. Final prices are expected to be revealed tomorrow. The first deliveries are anticipated on June 26th.
