Global Motorola Edge 70 Pro with periscope telephoto camera and wireless charging is here
Motorola launched the Indian Edge 70 Pro with three 50 MP cameras – a main camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a selfie camera. The global Motorola Edge 70 Pro is now available with an additional 50MP camera – a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, 50x “Super Zoom Pro”, optical image stabilization (OIS), and a focal length of 81mm.
The global Motorola Edge 70 Pro also supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging, which the Indian model lacks. Furthermore, the Indian model is available in three Pantone colors (Lily White, Titanium, and Tea), while the global model comes in four (Lily White, Titanium, Chicory Coffee, and Zinfandel).
The Zinfandel version features a silk-like surface on the back in Pantone Sangria, while the Chicory Coffee version has a natural wood look with hints of Pantone Cocoa Cream. The Lily White version is finished with acetate, while the Titanium version has a wool-like surface.
The Edge 70 Pro with a wood finish is the thickest model at 7.34 mm. The acetate-finish version is 7.29 mm thin, while the silk and wool-look models are a slim 7.19 mm. Regardless of dimensions, all color variations of the Edge 70 Pro available worldwide weigh 190 g. However, availability may vary by market.
The remaining technical specifications of the global Edge 70 Pro are identical to those of the Indian model, including the Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with 1272p resolution, Android 16 and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging (wired) and 5W reverse wireless charging.
The Motorola smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, two stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio (wired and wireless), IP68/IP69 protection rating, MIL-STD-810H certification and NFC.
Furthermore, the global Motorola Edge 70 Pro features 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and three UFS 4.1 storage options: 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. However, in the UK and Europe, it is currently offered with a configuration of 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, and in the Pantone Zinfandel and Pantone Titan colors.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro pricing
In the UK, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro costs £749.99. In Europe, it costs €799, except in France, where it costs €899. Motorola also includes a free Moto Tag and a Moto 125W power adapter in these regions.
Motorola also announced that the global Edge 70 Pro will be available in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region in the coming weeks. Furthermore, the Moto G47, Moto G87 and the Razr 70 series were announced today.
