The Google Pixel 11 series is expected to be unveiled in August, assuming the company sticks to its usual release schedule. CAD-based renderings of all models in the series have already surfaced, and now key details about the series’ Tensor G6 chipset have also leaked.

A tipster has published a screenshot showing that the Tensor G6 in the Google Pixel 11 will feature new ARM CPU cores compared to the Tensor G5, with a total of seven cores. The screenshot reveals that the chipset has one ARM C1 Ultra core clocked at 4.11 GHz, four ARM C1 Pro cores at 3.38 GHz, and two additional C1 Pro cores at 2.65 GHz, representing a significant upgrade over the Tensor G5 in all areas.

However, it’s not all good news. According to the leak, the Tensor G6 will use a PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 GPU, which is already a few years old. While Google could use an updated version, we wouldn’t expect the Pixel 11 series to be a gaming powerhouse.

The leaked screenshot also shows the code names for the Google Pixel 11 (Cubs), the Pixel 11 Pro (Grizzly) and the Pixel 11 Pro XL (Kodiac).

According to a leak from the beginning of the year, the Tensor G6 chipset will also power Face ID in the Pixel 11 series.
