vivo Y600 Pro with a 10,200 mAh battery and Dimensity 7300e chip is here
In just two generations, vivo has almost doubled the battery capacity of its Y-series Pro smartphones – the vivo Y600 Pro being one example. Released in June of last year, the Y400 Pro came to market with a 5,500 mAh battery, which, for a mid-range smartphone, is fairly average these days. The Y500 Pro followed in November with a significant upgrade to 7,000 mAh. Now the successor is here and, with its 10,200 mAh Si-C battery, once again overshadows everything else.
It is a full-fledged 38 Wh battery in a smartphone, featuring fourth-generation silicon anode technology with 15% silicon content and an energy density of 886 Wh/L.
Given the battery capacity, one might assume the vivo Y600 Pro has grown significantly in size, but that’s not the case. Vivo has managed to fit a 45% larger battery while making the Y600 Pro only 0.4 mm thicker than its predecessor. That equates to an increase of just 5% – the Y600 Pro measures 8.25 mm.
Equipped with such a powerful battery, the vivo Y600 Pro is said to easily last over 24 hours, according to the manufacturer – with an impressive 47 hours of talk time, 28 hours of video playback, or 16 hours of navigation. And vivo promises that, thanks to optimized battery management systems, the Y600 Pro’s battery will still retain 80% of its capacity after 6 years of regular use (1,600 charge cycles).
As for charging, the device offers a charging capacity of 90 watts, which has remained unchanged since the Y400 Pro generation. The vivo Y600 Pro can also be used as a power bank via reverse charging.

Furthermore, the vivo Y600 Pro is the first smartphone to launch with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300e chipset. This is almost identical to the Dimensity 7300/7300X variants, but uses a slightly less powerful Arm Mali-G610 MC2 GPU and offers improved energy efficiency.
The Y600 Pro also features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 32 MP front camera, and an optical fingerprint scanner. It is protected against water and dust with IP68 and IP69 ratings.
The main camera offers 50 MP, an f/1.8 aperture, and optical image stabilization (OIS). The second module on the back is an infrared transmitter. The software is based on OriginOS 6 and Android 16.
Prices
The vivo Y600 Pro is available in black, blue, gold, and purple. The base version with 8 GB of storage and 128 GB of RAM starts at 2,099 CNY (263 €/307 USD), while the top-of-the-line version with 12 GB of storage and 512 GB of RAM costs 2,899 CNY (361 €/424 USD).
The vivo smartphone can be ordered from vivo’s official online shop in China; delivery is scheduled for April 30th.
