Tecno Pop X 5G with Dimensity 6400 and 6,500 mAh battery unveiled
Tecno has unveiled the latest addition to its Pop series – the Tecno Pop X 5G. It boasts a fresh new design with a horizontally arranged camera aperture on the back, a 6,500 mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging, and a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset.
The Tecno Pop X 5G features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (720 x 1576 pixels) and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display offers a peak brightness of 560 nits and has a cutout for the 8-megapixel front camera.
On the back is a single 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash. The camera housing is made, as with the Spark 50, from aircraft-grade Series 6 aluminum. The Pop X 5G is also IP64 dustproof and waterproof and 8.2 mm thin.

Tecno has added a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a headphone jack, and expandable storage via the dual-SIM slot to the Pop X 5G.
The smartphone runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16 and includes Tecnos AI Suite with AI noise cancellation, AI writing assistant, AI eraser 2.0, AI image magnification, and AI flash. FreeLink is also available for direct SMS and calls to other compatible Tecno devices without a cellular connection.
The Tecno Pop X 5G is available in midnight blue and wave green. The base version with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage starts at 15,999 INR (146 euros/172 US dollars), while the variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is available for 17,999 INR (164 euros/193 US dollars). The official sales launch is scheduled for Friday, April 24th, on Amazon India.
