Tecno Camon 50 Pro 5G with Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chip is here
Tecno’s Camon 50 series has a new addition: the Tecno Camon 50 Pro 5G is here. Visually similar to the recently introduced Camon 50 Ultra, it features the same technical specifications, including the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset.
The chipset is equipped with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and the smartphone also features the large 6,500 mAh battery of the Ultra model with 45-watt cable charging capability.
Furthermore, the Tecno Camon 50 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is equipped with a 50MP selfie camera and an optical fingerprint scanner.
Sony LYT700C main camera and 3x telephoto
On the back is the familiar triple camera setup, the centerpiece of which is a 50-megapixel main camera (equivalent to 23 mm) with Sony’s LYT700C sensor (1/1.56 inch) and optical image stabilization (OIS). The second camera is a 50-megapixel telephoto lens (equivalent to 70 mm) with 3x optical zoom, while the third is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (14 mm) with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Camon 50 Pro 5G offers protection against water ingress according to IP68/IP69K and runs on Android 16 and the Tecno HiOS 16 user interface.

The Tecno Camon 50 Pro 5G is available in Moonshadow Black, Cypress Green, Nebula Titanium, and Misty Purple. It is already available for pre-order in Indonesia, with delivery expected from March 26th. The base version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs 5,599,000 IDR (€288/USD 332), while the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is available for 6,099,000 IDR (€313/USD 361).
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra is expected to arrive in Europe later this year at a starting price of €400.
