vivo X300 Ultra: New ultrawide camera with large sensor
Currently, vivo itself is sharing new details about the upcoming vivo X300 Ultra almost daily. The company recently released information about the main camera and the telephoto lens. The latest teaser now highlights the ultra-wide-angle camera.
Han Boxiao, product manager at vivo, has published an image showing the internal layout of the X300 Ultra’s rear camera system, confirming that the smartphone will have a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
The ultra-wide-angle camera uses the Sony LYTIA-818 sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor area. It is also said to offer improved video stabilization. According to Boxiao, the ultra-wide-angle camera meets the CIPA 6.0 stabilization standard, an upgrade from last year’s CIPA 5.0 standard. This should also improve the performance of the vivo mobile phone in low light.
vivo X300 Ultra with multispectral sensor
In the image shared by Boxiao, a fourth sensor can be seen behind an emoji. Although the vivo manager didn’t reveal any details, he mentioned that the sensor would improve the phone’s color reproduction. This suggests that the hidden unit is the rumored 5 megapixel multispectral camera.
The vivo X300 Ultra is expected to launch in China later this month and could make its global debut around the same time. Rumors suggest the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and equipped with a large 7,000 mAh battery.
