Tecno Watch GT 1S, MEGAPAD 2 and FreeHear 2 announced
After the Camon 50 Ultra Tecno also unveiled the Tecno Watch GT 1S, the tablet MEGAPAD 2 and the wireless open-ear headphones FreeHear 2 at MWC 2026 in Barcelona.
Tecno Watch GT 1S
The Tecno Watch GT 1S is the company’s flagship smartwatch model, featuring highly accurate GPS tracking via dual-band connectivity (L1+L5) and advanced health monitoring. The device supports heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress, and sleep tracking, all with a 15-day battery life.
Tecno MEGAPAD 2
The Tecno MEGAPAD 2 is a mid-range tablet specifically designed for multimedia and education. It features an 11-inch display with 2.5K resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, as well as TÜV certification for low blue light emissions. Its slim profile of just 6.6 mm makes it exceptionally portable.
Tecno highlights the various AI-powered features that facilitate learning. The HiOS operating system offers AI problem-solving, AI translation with support for up to 140 languages, and AI document summarization.
Tecno FreeHear 2
The Tecno FreeHear 2 open-ear earbuds are a lightweight and discreet solution with a C-shaped clip design that allows for the open-ear style. Each earbud weighs just 5.4 grams and offers a secure and natural fit, so you don’t have to worry about them falling out. According to Tecno, the battery life is impressive, lasting up to 46 hours with mixed use. Fast charging is also supported: just 5 minutes of charging provides approximately 1 hour of music playback.
All three devices are compatible with Tecno’s OneLeap connectivity feature. OneLeap enables easy and seamless connection of all your Tecno devices. This includes not only your smartphone and tablet, but also your PC and other Tecno smart devices.
Unfortunately, Tecno has not yet released any further details, so the exact specifications of all three devices are expected to be published later. The Tecno MEGAPAD 2, the Tecno Watch GT 1S, and the Tecno FreeHear 2 will be available in select markets during the first and second quarters of this year. Pricing will vary and will be announced at the respective product launches.
