Tecno Camon 50 Ultra with Dimensity 7400 Ultra and 6,500 mAh battery unveiled
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G is now officially available and features a large 6,500 mAh battery, a triple rear camera, and improved protection compared to the Pro model.
At its heart is a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10 and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The smartphone also features an optical fingerprint scanner integrated under the display.
The back cover is very similar to the Camon 50 Pro in design and camera module. It features a 50MP main camera with a wide-angle lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. A 50MP camera with autofocus is available for selfies.
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra impresses with its high-quality construction, featuring a glass sandwich design and rounded sides, with the back protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The Camon 50 Ultra 5G is also MIL-STD-810 certified and offers IP69K dust and water resistance.
It features a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and bypass charging. It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, which can be combined with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The Camon 50 Ultra 5G runs on HiOS 16, based on Android 16, and is expected to receive up to three operating system upgrades. Other specifications include 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, infrared, two speakers, and an FM radio.

We don’t yet have exact pricing and availability details for the smartphone, but the price in the EU will be around €400. The smartphone will be available in various colors, including orange, green, purple, and black.
