Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra night photography features teased
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is appearing almost daily in new teasers and leaks ahead of its launch on February 25th. A new video for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to be teasing its night photography features. The video comes from Samsung’s US division and was uploaded to X.
The teaser focuses entirely on “vibrant night shots even in low light,” and although Samsung doesn’t explicitly mention which device it is, we assume it’s the Galaxy S26 Ultra because this one will have the best cameras of the trio.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with familiar camera setup
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a 200MP main camera with an f/1.4 aperture, the same 10MP camera with 3x optical zoom as the other two Galaxy S26 models, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and an f/2.8 aperture (1/2.52-inch sensor), and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/1.9 aperture (1/2.5-inch sensor) and autofocus.
This setup is almost identical to its predecessor. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra known – only the aperture openings are to be slightly larger.
Of course, Samsung’s Chinese competitors could rightly argue that large sensors are needed for night photography, as these can capture more light, and the cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, according to current rumors, won’t set any records in this regard. However, Samsung could counter that the image processing and AI features contribute to the image quality of the Galaxy phones.
