Samsung Galaxy S26 series is set to become “something smarter”
Samsung hasn’t officially announced the launch date for the Galaxy S26 series, but the terms and conditions of a giveaway the company is running have already revealed almost all the details. Therefore, the rumored date of February 25th is now considered virtually certain.
In the run-up to the release, Samsung’s US branch launched a kind of teaser campaign and shared the video above on X. The man clearly sees “something smarter” in the Samsung Galaxy S26 series.

While this does not reveal any direct information about the upcoming devices, it strongly suggests that AI features will be the focus of Samsung’s presentation.
This is hardly surprising, of course – according to countless rumors, there will be very few hardware upgrades in this generation. AI-powered software features are therefore quite convenient for extending the presentation’s duration.
The S26 family is rumored to offer support for Google’s AI-based scam detection, and Bixby is set to become smarter thanks to a partnership with Perplexity. However, at least one hardware upgrade has been rumored several times: faster wireless charging.
