Sony LinkBuds Clip with clip design and 9h battery life are here
Sony’s latest earbuds are here. As the name suggests, the Sony LinkBuds Clip clip onto the ear – a headphones design that has become increasingly popular recently.
The biggest advantage of this design is that you can listen to your music (or whatever is playing through the earbuds) and be aware of your surroundings at the same time. Sony states that the earbuds are designed for a “comfortable and secure fit in various ear shapes with removable ear tips” and are ideal for all-day use.
The Sony LinkBuds Clip offer three listening modes: Standard, Speech Enhancement, and Noise Reduction. The app supports a 10-band equalizer, and Sony promises “excellent call quality” thanks to a bone conduction sensor for voice pickup and an AI-based noise cancellation system to eliminate background noise.
Sony LinkBuds Clip with up to nine hours of battery life
The LinkBuds Clip offer a battery life of up to nine hours, and up to 37 hours with the charging case. Thanks to the fast charging function, three minutes of charging provides one hour of use. The earbuds are IPX4 splash-proof and support multipoint calling.
The Sony headphones are already available in the US for $229.99 (€196) and in Canada for CAD 299.99 in black, greige, green, and lavender. Protective cases and ear cushions can be purchased directly from Sony for $24.99.
