The Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Design was officially unveiled in China today, along with the Magic8 Pro Air. The new models expand the Magic series and complement the Magic8 Pro and the Magic8, which were launched in October of last year.

Like its predecessors, the latest Magic8 variant boasts a distinctive design with styling elements inspired by Porsche supercars. It also features a nanoceramic back cover, which Honor claims has a Mohs hardness of 8.5.

Furthermore, the Honor smartphone is said to be 10% lighter than its predecessor. It is particularly noteworthy that the design of the camera module is inspired by the matrix headlights of classic Porsche models.

It features a 6.71-inch quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a maximum HDR brightness of 6,000 nits. The display also supports Dolby Vision and 4,320Hz PWM dimming. It is protected by Giant Rhino Glass.

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and available with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Android 16 based on Magic UI 10.0 and numerous AI features.

The Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Design features a 50 MP main camera (1/1.3 inch) with an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). For ultra-wide-angle shots, there’s a 50 MP camera with a 122° field of view, which also supports macro photography. The front camera offers 200 MP (1/1.4 inch) with an f/2.6 aperture, OIS, and 3.7x optical zoom.
