Motorola Signature with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 50MP triple camera is here
Following the unveiling of the Razr Fold, the Motorola Signature also premiered today, the first smartphone in Motorola’s new ultra-premium Signature series. It features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, a peak brightness of up to 6,200 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The display also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and is Pantone color and skin tone certified.
The Motorola Signature features a triple rear camera system with a 50MP Sony Lytia 828 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.6 aperture. Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 122° field of view and macro capability, as well as a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, the smartphone has a 50MP Sony Lytia 500 sensor with autofocus.
The signature is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and features up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone runs on Android 16 and offers various Moto AI features. Motorola promises seven years of operating system and security updates.
It features a 5,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also supports 10W wireless reverse charging and 5W wired reverse charging.
Further specifications of the Motorola smartphone include IP68 and IP69 protection ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification, an in-display fingerprint scanner, GPS, two speakers with Sound by Bose, Dolby Atmos support, and three microphones.
Motorola Signature Price
The Motorola Signature is 6.99 mm thin and weighs 186 g. It will be available in the Pantone colors Carbon and Martini Olive. Unfortunately, Motorola has not yet released any information regarding availability in different markets. The German website lists the price as €999.99 (USD 1.168,73), where you can also sign up to be notified when it’s available.
