vivo X300 Ultra: Two 200 MP cameras and European launch
The vivo X300 Ultra is slowly getting ready for launch. So far, only a base model and the X300 Pro are available on the market, and only in China. A new certification for Europe and a recent leak now suggest that the Ultra will also be sold internationally, with top-of-the-line specifications.
First, let’s look at the display details of the vivo X300 Ultra: According to the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station the coming camera flagship will feature a flat 6.82-inch BOE LTPO display with a 2K resolution. The panel is housed in a slim metal casing, which unfortunately obstructs the dedicated camera button of the vivo X200 Ultra.
According to the tipster, the rear camera module uses the same design as before, but the position of the periscope telephoto sensor has been changed. According to previous rumors, the main camera uses Sony’s 200MP IMX09E sensor (1/1.12 inch). The second 200 MP periscope telephoto camera is based on Sony’s IMX09A chip. It also features a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a 50MP front camera.
Global vivo X300 Ultra already certified
The global version of the X300 Ultra, model number V2562, was certified prior to its market launch in Europe.
According to a previous certification, the new Ultra supports 100-watt wired charging. This is quite good news, as the previous models were not released in international markets.
Previous rumors suggested that the smartphone would launch before the end of April with a 7,000 mAh battery. It would be powered by the fastest mobile chip currently available – the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
