OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V: Design, specs, video and unboxing
Following a series of leaks, OnePlus has now officially confirmed the release date for its new Turbo 6 series. The series includes the OnePlus Turbo 6 and the Turbo 6V. The company has also revealed the design, color options, and key technical specifications of both models. Two further leaks have brought with them an official trailer and an unboxing video.
OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V: Design and specs ahead of January 8th launch
The OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V will be unveiled in China on January 8th. OnePlus has showcased the design of both smartphones and the available colors in several teaser images.
Both devices are also listed online, so their RAM and storage configurations are no longer a secret.
According to initial announcements, the OnePlus Turbo 6 will feature a triple-lens rear camera and will be available in Chasing Light Silver, Lone Black, and Wilderness Green. It will be offered in storage configurations of 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, 16/256 GB, and 16/512 GB.
It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and feature a display with a 165 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone also brings a 9,000 mAh battery and is IP69 certified.
The OnePlus Turbo 6V will feature a dual rear camera and will be available in Fearless Blue, Lone Black, and Nova White. It will come in storage configurations of 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB.
Although OnePlus hasn’t released any details about the 6V yet, it’s also expected to be equipped with a 9,000 mAh battery. The smartphone is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and offer a display with a 144 Hz refresh rate.

Why they started with the number 6 for the first two members of the new Turbo series is a mystery to us as well. Two videos of the two smartphones surfaced today, but they don’t offer any answers to this question. Here’s the official trailer.
