Xiaomi Watch 5 with dual-chip architecture

The smartwatch features sapphire crystal on both the front and back. A dual-chip architecture, consisting of the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 and a power-efficient Hengxuan 2800 chipset, provides ample performance. It weighs 56 g without the strap and is 12.3 mm thick. The Watch 5 is also water-resistant up to 50 meters and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.

In terms of fitness and health features, the smartwatch offers continuous heart rate monitoring, ECG, SpO2 measurement, stress monitoring, sleep tracking, and supports over 150 sports modes. You also get full-color offline maps and other features for runners.

The Xiaomi Watch 5 draws its power from a 930 mAh battery, which is very large for a smartwatch and should last up to 6 days with normal use. In power-saving mode, it should last up to 18 days.

The smartwatch’s ECG sensor can also be used for navigation. It detects muscle signals from the hand and can perform actions such as answering calls, disabling alarms, remotely triggering photos, controlling music playback, and much more.

In terms of connectivity, the Xiaomi Watch 5 offers Bluetooth 5.4, WLAN, NFC, GPS and eSIM support.
