Last week, Xiaomi hinted that the next flagship smartphone Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be unveiled in China this week. The company has now posted the exact release date, design, color options, and a teaser video of the smartphone.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be unveiled in China on December 25th, as confirmed by the company in a Weibo post. The design of the back and the color options for the smartphone were also revealed.

The smartphone will be available in three colors, including a new star green variant. According to initial announcements, it will also be offered in white and black. The announcements also confirm that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature a triple-lens rear camera.

The “Star Green” variant of the smartphone features mineral particles on the back, giving it a metallic finish. Xiaomi also announced that the 17 Ultra will have a flat display, segmented volume buttons, and a slim 8.29 mm body.

We also have the first sample images from the highly anticipated flagship camera. The device will be equipped with the brand-new 1-inch OmniVision Light Hunter 1050L main sensor (50 MP) with an f/1.67 aperture and Leica optics.
