Samsung Exynos 2600: Galaxy S26 chip with 3.9 GHz and 10 cores

The upcoming Samsung Exynos 2600 chipset is expected to power the Galaxy S26 series. While official details are still scarce, a new leak has revealed important information about the processor. The well-known tipster UniverseIce has released several details about the new processor on the X platform. These include the state-of-the-art 2nm manufacturing process and the fact that it is a 10-core CPU.

The Samsung Exynos 2600 will feature one main processor core clocked at 3.9 GHz, three high-performance cores clocked at 3.25 GHz, and six mid-range cores clocked at 2.75 GHz. According to the tip, it will also include an AMD Juno GPU for graphics, running at a clock speed of 985 MHz. The GPU will support OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 3.0, and Vulkan 1.3.
Samsung Exynos 2600 teaser
Following an extensive leak campaign, Samsung recently confirmed the existence of the Exynos 2600 and its imminent market launch. The flagship chipset is expected to appear before the Galaxy S26 series, and thanks to a short video teaser (see above), we’ve now been able to get a first look at it.
Samsung seems to have finally accepted the disappointing performance of its latest Exynos chips, as the video begins with the opening statement, “We have been listening in silence.” It then goes on to describe some aspects of the upcoming chip with the usual marketing platitudes, including “refined at its core” and “optimized on every level.”
Current rumors suggest that Samsung will use the Exynos 2600 in the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ in selected regions. We must wait for the official announcement of the Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to launch at the end of January to see how the chip compares to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and Apple’s A19 Pro.
