Realme Narzo 90 and Narzo 90x unveiled with 7,000 mAh batteries
Realme today unveiled two new members of its Narzo series – the Narzo 90 and the Narzo 90x.
Realme Narzo 90
Let’s start with the Realme Narzo 90. It’s powered by the Dimensity 6400 Max chipset and features up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Realme UI 6.0 based on the older Android 15 and promises three Android operating system upgrades as well as four years of security updates.
The Narzo 90 features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FullHD+ resolution, and Dragontrail Star D+ glass. It boasts a peak brightness of 4,000 nits, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication is located beneath the display, while a 50MP selfie camera sits in a punch-hole cutout in the center.
On the back, there’s another 50MP camera, complemented by a 2MP monochrome camera. According to the manufacturer, the 7,000mAh battery with 60W charging capability can be charged from 1% to 50% in just 31 minutes.
Other features of the Realme Narzo 90 include bypass charging, reverse wired charging, two stereo speakers, and IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. It is 7.79 mm thin and weighs 181 g.
Prices
The Narzo 90 is available in Victory Gold and Carbon Black with two storage options: 6/128 GB and 8/128 GB. Prices are 16,999 INR (159 euros) and 18,499 INR (173 euros), respectively. It will be available in India via Amazon.in starting December 24th.
Realme Narzo 90x
The Realme Narzo 90x is equipped with the slightly less powerful Dimensity 6300 chip and offers up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. The smartphone runs Realme UI 6.0, based on Android 15. Information regarding the number of software updates is not yet available.
The Narzo 90x features a 6.8-inch front-facing LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It’s protected by Dragontrail Star D+ glass, offers a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, and is even usable with wet hands. For photos and videos, it has two cameras: an 8MP front camera and a 50MP rear camera with a flicker sensor.
Like the Narzo 90, the Narzo 90x also features a 7,000 mAh battery with 60-watt charging capability. It also supports reverse wired charging.
Other highlights of the Realme Narzo 90x include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Rhythm Pulse Light on the back, and IP65 certification. The smartphone is 8.28 mm thin, weighs 212 g, and is available in Flash Blue and Nitro Blue.
Prices
The Narzo 90x is available in 6/128 GB and 8/128 GB storage configurations and costs INR 13,999 (131 euros) and INR 15,499 (145 euros), respectively. It will be available in India via Amazon.in starting December 23rd.
