Xiaomi 17 Ultra to get improved Leica cameras
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to be unveiled in China later this month. According to recent rumors, it will be released in the fourth week of December. In the run-up to its expected market launch, new details about the smartphone’s camera setup have surfaced online.
According to an insider, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be equipped with a new Leica lens coating, providing improved clarity, reduced reflections, and minimized chromatic aberration.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra with three main cameras
Recent rumors suggest that the upcoming Ultra smartphone will feature a triple camera on the back. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra already offered a quad-camera setup with two telephoto lenses. The upcoming 17 Ultra, however, is expected to have only a single telephoto lens.
The next Ultra model is expected to be equipped with the currently fastest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It is anticipated to feature a high-capacity battery, a flat display, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, satellite connectivity, and other improvements. The charging speed of the Xiaomi phone via cable is a fast 100 watts.
This smartphone complements the recently introduced models Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Pro. Max.
