Insta360 X4 Air with 8K 360° videos for 399 euros is here
The Insta360 X4 Air is the Chinese manufacturer’s latest 360-degree action camera, offering video recording at up to 8K 30fps at a more affordable price than the flagship Insta360 X5.
The X4 Air’s core features two 1/1.8-inch sensors – a significant upgrade from the 1/2-inch sensors of its predecessor. It can record videos in 8K resolution (7680 × 3840) at 30/25/24 fps, as well as in 6K (6016 × 3008) at 50/48/30/25/24 fps, or in 4K (3840 × 1920) at 50/48/30/25/24 fps. Photos are captured at a resolution of 29 MP (7680 × 3840).
The X4 Air also supports interchangeable lenses, an integrated windscreen, and Insta360’s magnetic accessory mounts. As its name suggests, the X4 Air weighs 165 grams, making it 15 grams lighter than the Insta360 X4 and 35 grams lighter than the Insta360 X5.

The Insta360 X4 Air is available in Graphite Black and Arctic White and starts at €399/$399. As usual, there are various bundle offers, including the premium “No Drone No Problem” bundle with a lens cap and a selfie stick in the Extended Edition for €532/$506.
