OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 with huge batteries and 165 Hz displays are here

The OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 have extremely large batteries, 165 Hz displays, and two of the fastest chipsets on the market.

Today, OnePlus unveiled its new flagship duo – the OnePlus 15 and the OnePlus Ace 6. The pair will launch first in China, and we expect a global unveiling later in November. Both phones are equipped with Snapdragon processors, 165 Hz displays, and massive batteries.

OnePlus 15

The flagship itself has a new design. The OnePlus 15 is now completely flat and does away with the quad-curved display. The screen is also completely different: no longer a 6.82-inch QHD 120 Hz panel, but a 6.78-inch FHD+ 165 Hz display. It’s a newer BOE X3 panel. The bezels are equally narrow on all sides, measuring just 1.15 mm. This makes the OnePlus 15 slightly smaller overall than its predecessor, the OnePlus 13.

The OnePlus 15’s camera system has also changed. First, it’s no longer a collaboration with Hasselblad, but rather Oppo’s Lumo imaging system. The main camera is still a 50MP camera, but with a smaller sensor (1/1.56 inch vs. 1/1.4 inch), and the 50MP zoom is a 3.5x 85mm camera, as opposed to the old 73mm 3x model. The third camera is a 50MP 16mm f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera.

The OnePlus phone is, of course, equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The second major upgrade over the OnePlus 13 is the new, massive 7,300 mAh battery. It also increases charging capacity to 120 watts wired and 50 watts wireless. The operating system is ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

OnePlus Ace 6

The OnePlus Ace 6 is the successor to the Ace 5 in China and will likely make its global debut as the OnePlus 15R. It features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition and a larger 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

The OnePlus Ace 6 has two cameras on the back – a 50 MP wide-angle camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, there’s a 16 MP selfie camera.

The Ace 6’s battery is even larger at 7,800 mAh. It also supports 120W wired charging, but not wireless charging.

Availability

The OnePlus 15 will go on sale tomorrow, October 28, via the OnePlus website. It is available in Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune. Prices can be found in the table below. There is no information about the OnePlus Ace 6 yet.
