Motorola Moto X70 Air with 6 mm height and 4,800 mAh battery is here
The new wave of thin smartphones began in the upper price segment with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and the Apple iPhone Air. However, there are also mid-range models, namely the Tecno Spark Slim and Pova Slim. Starting today, another smartphone joins the lineup: the Motorola Moto X70 Air, which is just under 6 mm thick and weighs 159 g.
The Motorola Moto X70 Air features a 6.7-inch OLED display with 120 Hz and a resolution of 1220p+. It’s a flat panel with 4,500 nits of peak brightness and a built-in 50 MP selfie camera. There’s also a fingerprint reader underneath.
Although not as thin as the premium models, the Motorola Moto X70 Air has a larger battery – 4,800 mAh with 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. For comparison: The Samsung phone has a capacity of 3,900 mAh, and the Apple phone has a 3,149 mAh battery.
Additionally, the X70 Air’s metal frame has been reinforced to withstand drops from various angles. It also has IP68 and IP69 protection against submersion and hot water jets.
The back panel is available in several Pantone colors: Gadget Gray, Lily Pad, and Bronze Green. Each color is combined with an accent color for the rings around the camera modules and the side power button. The camera department features a 50MP main camera with a Samsung sensor and a 50MP 120° ultra-wide-angle camera.
Motorola Moto X70 Air with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which features a 3D vapor chamber for cooling, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and It is equipped with 256/512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. However, there is no microSD slot or 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The Motorola Moto X70 Air is already listed in China on Lenovo.com, but there is no price yet. This should be announced soon, and the global launch is also imminent, according to recent leaks. The global version will likely debut under the name Motorola Edge 70.
