iQOO is expected to unveil the iQOO 15 in the coming weeks. We recently saw a hands-on video showing the color-changing version. Although iQOO hasn’t announced a release date yet, we got our first official look at the color-changing version of the iQOO 15 today.

The design of the iQOO 15 is similar to that of last year’s iQOO 13 – it has a metal construction with the volume rocker and power button on the right frame, while the back features a circular camera island with three cameras and an LED flash. The text “100x Telephoto Lens” indicates a telephoto lens, which, in combination with the camera software, offers up to 100x hybrid zoom.

The iQOO 12 was equipped with a periscope telephoto camera, while the iQOO 13 lacked a periscope. Rumor has it that the 15 model will mark the return of the periscope telephoto camera, and we hope that’s true.

In addition to unveiling the design of the color-changing model, iQOO also announced that the iQOO 15 will be the first smartphone to run OriginOS 6 out of the box. The vivo X300 and X300 Pro, which are also expected to run OriginOS 6, are scheduled to launch in China on October 13. Therefore, it’s safe to assume that the new iQOO flagship will be unveiled beforehand. Pre-orders are already available in China via vivo’s Chinese website and third-party retailers.
