Samsung Galaxy A17 4G with Helio G99 chipset introduced
The Samsung Galaxy A17 4G is finally official. The device is now available in Germany at a starting price of €199 for the 6/128 GB version, making it €30 cheaper than the base model Galaxy A17 5G.
The technical specifications of the two Galaxy phones are almost identical. The only difference is that the Helio G99 chipset of the Samsung Galaxy A17 4G replaces the Exynos 1330 of the 5G model.
The A17 4G also features a 6.7-inch An AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, an IP54 rating, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
On the back of the Galaxy A17 4G is a 50 MP main camera with OIS, along with a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro camera. The phone runs One UI 7 based on Android 15, and Samsung promises six years of operating system updates and security patches.
