Meizu 22 with 6.3-inch display and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip is here

The Meizu 22 has been officially launched in China as the company’s latest flagship. It features one of the narrowest display bezels of any smartphone and a compact design.

The Meizu 22 is based on a 6.3-inch OLED LTPO display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. It features smooth bezels measuring just 1.2 mm thick and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The screen-to-body ratio is correspondingly high at 96.4%.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, coupled with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. It also features a 4,500 mm² vapor chamber for cooling.

The rear houses a triple camera setup with a primary 50 MP OV50H sensor with OIS. The phone also features a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and another 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The front houses a fourth 50 MP camera.



The Meizu 22 has a 5,510 mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 66W wireless charging. It is IP66/IP68 dust and water resistant. The smartphone is 8.15 mm thin and weighs 190 g. It runs on the Android 15-based Flyme AIOS 2 and offers various AI features.
The Meizu 22 is available in Borderless Black, White, and Love Pink.
Prices
Prices in China start at CNY 2,999 (€356/$420) for the 12/256 GB variant, while the 12/512 GB model costs CNY 3,399 (€404/$480). The 16/512GB option costs CNY 3,699 (€440/$520) and the 16GB/1TB version costs CNY 4,199 (€499/$590).
