Oppo Find X9 Pro: Photo kit, Dimensity 9500 and 200 MP periscope

Following the big unveiling of the Apple iPhone 17 series, smartphone manufacturers flocked to the internet to compare their upcoming smartphones with Apple’s latest and greatest models. This also applies to Zhou Yibao, product manager of the Oppo Find X9 series, who shared some technical specifications and photos of the upcoming Oppo flagships, including one with an iPhone.
Oppo Find X9 Pro gets Hasselblad photo kit
Firstly, the Oppo Find X9 Pro will be equipped with a separately available Hasselblad photo kit. The only image of this can be found below, but unfortunately, it is speculative. According to the product manager, the actual photography kit will look different.

In addition to this kit, which Oppo developed specifically for the Pro together with Hasselblad, Zhou says that the standard Find X9 won’t be forgotten either, as it will be the first to feature dedicated video accessories. Companies don’t usually produce such accessories for standard devices, but rather for the Pro and Ultra variants.
Thin display bezels and 7,000 mAh batteries
According to the next teaser, the Oppo Find X9 Pro will feature a large 7,500 mAh battery, while the smaller Find X9 will have a 7,025 mAh battery. The Pro’s battery specifications have already been confirmed by Zhou, as has its 8.25 mm thickness.



Weight was not mentioned, but according to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X9 Pro will weigh 224 g, while the standard model weighs 203 g and is 7.99 mm thick. Note that the screens are different sizes – the Pro is larger with a 6.78-inch panel, while the standard model has a 6.69-inch screen.


The Oppo Find X9 series will also utilize “cold carving” technology, and the main color will be “Titanium,” although the body will most likely be made of aluminum. Interestingly, the screen will feature eye-protection technology and even offer a motion sickness reduction mode.
The entire Oppo Find X9 series will feature flat displays and the thinnest bezels yet, on all four sides. According to one tip, they will measure 1.1 mm.
According to Zhou, the X9 will also bring significant improvements to video recording. At launch, ColorOS 16 runs on Android 16, which offers native support for Apple phones. The images show how the Find X9 is paired with the AirPods 4.
According to leaked specifications, both the Oppo Find X9 and the X9 Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and feature 80W fast wired charging. The phones will also switch to ultrasonic fingerprint sensors and feature a new smart key called the “Plus Key.”
The Oppo Find X9 will have three 50 MP cameras on the back. The Oppo Find X9 Pro will be equipped with a 200 MP periscope lens. An official launch is expected in October.
Oppo Pad 5 with Dimensity 9400+ chipset
The Oppo Pad 5 also appears to be about to launch, as a new leak suggested today. Well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has compiled some key specifications. According to this, the tablet could be announced alongside the Find X9 series.


The Oppo Pad 5 will feature a 12.1-inch LCD display with 3K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. It will also be based on a MediaTek chipset, namely the Dimensity 9400+, paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The Oppo Pad 5 will have a 10,165 mAh battery and It will offer 67W fast charging. It will have an 8MP camera and weigh 579g. The tablet could be available in gray, purple, and silver.
