HMD Vibe 5G and two new feature phones introduced
HMD today unveiled a new smartphone and two feature phones. The HMD Vibe 5G features a 6.67-inch 720 x 1,604 pixel LCD touchscreen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, the Unisoc T760 chipset at the top, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a 50 MP rear camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, an 8 MP front camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging.
The HMD Vibe 5G runs Android 15 and receives two years of quarterly security updates. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, dual-SIM capability, and a charger. It’s already available in black and purple on the HMD website for INR 8,999 (€87/$102).
The HMD 101 and HMD 102 are essentially the same device, except the latter has a QVGA camera with a flash. Both feature a 2-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels, the Unisoc 8910 FF-S processor, 16 MB of expandable internal memory, an FM radio, an MP3 player, cloud apps, Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, and a removable 1,000 mAh battery.
The 101 is available in dark blue, red, and blue for INR 1,899 (€18/$22), while the 102 can be yours in dark blue, red, and purple for INR 2,199 (€21/$25).
