DJI Osmo 360: First DJI 360° action camera introduced
DJI has announced its first 360° action camera, the Osmo 360. The DJI Osmo 360 promises several innovations in this segment, including the first 360° camera with 8K recording at 50 frames per second and the ability to record continuously in 8K at 30 frames per second for 100 minutes.

The DJI Osmo 360 uses two 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors, which, according to DJI, are equivalent to a single 1-inch sensor when shooting in 360°. DJI uses industry-unique square HDR sensors designed from the ground up for 360°. The sensors have a dynamic range of 13.5 stops, an aperture of f/1.9, and an ISO range of 100–51,200.
The two cameras can natively record up to 8K 360° videos at up to 30 frames per second or up to 50 frames per second with upscaling. With 4K recordings, up to 100 frames per second are also possible.
Alternatively, you can also record single-lens videos with a resolution of up to 5K and up to 60 frames per second, or single-lens ultra-wide-angle videos with a resolution of up to 4K and up to 120 frames per second.
The Osmo 360 impresses with its long recording time. It can record up to 100 minutes of continuous 8K panoramic video at 30 frames per second and up to 190 minutes of 6K panoramic video at 24 frames per second. The camera can record for up to 1.5 hours even in temperatures as low as -20°C.
The Osmo 360 features features such as HorizonSteady, which ensures that footage remains level even when the camera is rotated, and RockSteady 3.0 for image stabilization. Still images are possible at up to 30.72 MP (4:3) with one lens. The action cam captures panoramic photos with both lenses at up to 120 MP (2:1).
The Osmo 360 features a 2-inch display with a resolution of 314 x 556 pixels. It has 128 GB of built-in storage, 105 GB of which is available, and microSD expansion up to 1 TB. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth are also integrated. Recording can be triggered by hand gestures or voice commands.

The DJI Osmo 360 costs €480/£410 for the standard combo with camera, protective case, and rubber lens protector. The Adventure combo also includes a 1.2 m invisible selfie stick, two Extreme Battery Plus batteries, and a multifunctional battery case.
