Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro with 12.5″ and Xring O1 chip is here

The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 is the first tablet with the company’s proprietary Xring O1 chipset and comes one month after the chip’s debut in the Xiaomi 15S Pro. However, this is not the only change compared to the Pad 7 Pro.

The 7S tablet features a larger 12.5-inch display – Xiaomi promises a balanced ratio between mobility and screen size compared to 11- and 14-inch tablets. The display still has a 3:2 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.

The Xiaomi tablet is slimmer at 5.8 mm (compared to 6.2 mm for the Pad 7 Pro). It does weigh more (576 g instead of 500 g), but this is offset by the larger display and battery.

The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is powered by a 10,610 mAh battery that supports faster 120W charging. The previous Pro model had an 8,850 mAh battery with 67 watts of charging power.

The tablet enables wireless screen mirroring to a PC with a latency of just 41 ms. It also allows sharing a keyboard and mouse with a PC and enables easy file transfers. Incidentally, both Windows and Mac systems are supported.

One notable change is that the S model has more speakers—now up to six and with Dolby Atmos support. Together with the larger display, this promises an even more immersive experience in video and gaming applications.

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro Prices

The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is available today and starts at 3,300 CNY for the base model with 8 GB/256 GB. Various configurations with up to 16 GB/1 TB are available, see the table below. Please note that although Xiaomi has converted to US dollars, the global launch has not yet been announced. The aforementioned keyboard add-on costs 1,000 CNY, and a screen protector (Soft Light, which reduces reflections) costs 200 CNY.

Xiaomi also introduced the MIX Flip 2, Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K Pad, the Watch S4, and the AI ​​Glasses.
