vivo Y400 Pro with curved display and 4K front camera is here
The vivo Y400 Pro, which we’ve been hearing about for the past few weeks, has been officially unveiled. Vivo says it’s “tailored to the growing demands of style-conscious, performance-oriented consumers” and those “chasing bigger dreams.” They can do floral things, the Chinese.
The vivo Y400 Pro features a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a FullHD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a very bright peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The screen supports wet touch, has a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, and a punch-hole for the 32 MP selfie camera. By the way, the latter also shoots videos with 4K resolution.
On the back are an IR emitter and two cameras – a 50 MP main camera (Sony IMX882) and a 2 MP sensor for measuring depth of field and creating bokeh effects. The smartphone supports Sony Multifocal Portrait, allowing users to capture portraits with 1x, 1.5x, and 2x magnification.
Under the hood of the vivo Y400 Pro is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. The software runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. However, vivo has not yet announced how long it plans to provide software updates for the Y400 Pro.
The battery is relatively large at 5,500 mAh and also charges very quickly at 90 watts. According to the Chinese manufacturer, the included power adapter can recharge the battery to 50% capacity in 19 minutes. Other highlights include IP65 water and dust protection, dual stereo speakers, high-resolution audio (wired and wireless), and the usual AI-powered features we’ve come to expect from other vivo smartphones.

The vivo Y400 Pro is available in Nebula Purple, Fest Gold, and Freestyle White. The back of the white model boasts a unique Baroque Pearl texture, ensuring no two Freestyle White models are alike.
The 8/128 GB variant costs INR 24,999 (€250/$290), and the 8/256 GB model costs INR 26,999 (€270/$310). Both models will be available in India starting June 27th via the official Indian vivo website, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and partner stores.
