HMD Aura² with Unisoc chip and 13 MP camera is here
The HMD Aura² has been quietly launched. The device is an HMD Arc with a memory expansion of 256 GB, which is also protected against dust and water according to the IP54 protection class.
The HMD Aura² has the same 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz as the Arc. The peak brightness is 460 nits. It is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with 4 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which is expandable via the microSD card slot.
On the back, the HMD Aura² offers a single 13 MP camera, while a 5 MP front camera takes selfies in the waterdrop notch in the display. The software side is covered by Android 14 in the feature-reduced Go edition. There is also a 5,000 mAh battery with a charging capacity of a fairly reasonable 10 watts and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
The HMD Aura² is available in Midnight Black and Icy Blue and will be available in Australia from March 13 for 169 AUD (108 €/106 $).
