Tecno Pop 9 5G comes with Dimensity 6300 and 48 MP camera
Tecno launched the Pop 8 last October and as promised, the brand has today unveiled the Pop 9 5G. It is “designed for Gen Alpha, students and trendsetters” and comes with the Dimensity 6300 chipset, 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage and Android 14. It is based on a 120Hz display with an unknown resolution and diagonal. There is a central hole in the middle for the selfie camera, the resolution of which is also unknown.
However, we do know that the main camera on the back uses a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor. Also known is the battery size and charging speed of the Tecno Pop 9 5G – 5,000mAh and 18W. Other highlights include a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, an IR emitter, an IP54 protection rating, USB-C and two speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The Tecno Pop 9 5G is available in Midnight Shadow, Azure Sky and Aurora Cloud colours. There are two storage options – 4/64GB and 4/128GB – priced at INR 9,499 (€100/$115) and INR 9,999 (€110/$120). The sale in India is via Amazon.in and will start on October 7. It comes in a bundle with two free protective cases in yellow and blue colours.
