Tecno Spark 30 with Helio G91 chip and 64 MP camera is here
After various leaks, the Tecno Spark 30 is finally official. The smartphone has a 6.78-inch display on the front with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a FullHD+ resolution. The peak brightness is 800 nits, and the panel also supports wet or oily fingers.
The Tecno Spark 30 also has a central cutout for the 13 megapixel selfie camera, but no fingerprint scanner underneath, as it is embedded in the power button.
On the back of the Tecno Spark 30 there is a circular camera island, with the main camera using a 64 MP Sony IMX682 sensor. Under the hood is the Helio G91 chipset with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB/256 GB storage. The smartphone runs Android 14 out of the box. But it is unclear how many years of software updates Tecno guarantees.
Other highlights include a 5,000 mAh battery with 18 watt charging and IP64 protection against water and dust. You also get two stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a USB-C port and NFC with the Tecno Spark 30. So far, the smartphone actually only seems to be listed on Tecno’s Tanzanian website in the color options Orbit White and Orbit Black. However, there is still no official information on price and availability details there either.
