Instagram can now add text and stickers to your photos
Instagram now lets you easily add text to your photos. Additionally, you can overlay an image as a sticker over an image. This also applies to carousels. The company says, “this gives you the creative flexibility to make your content stand out and explore new, more entertaining, storytelling with photos and carousels”.
After selecting a photo from your gallery, simply tap the text button to add text, or tap the gallery button in the top right corner to add additional images as stickers. Tap the sticker itself to change its shape. You can choose between rectangle, square, circle, heart, or star.
Earlier this month, Instagram increased the carousel limit to up to 20 photos and videos in a single post. And now it’s also adding new and unique fonts, animations, and effects in a simplified text tool for Reels and Stories. Once you’ve selected a font, you can animate the text or add an effect.
