Rockstar reveals 3 new GTA 6 gameplay features

A new report on Grand Theft Auto 6 has revealed some exciting details about the biggest game of the year. According to the report, there will be some major upgrades to the wildlife, weather, and NPCs.
Animals receive a major upgrade in GTA 6

In Leonida, you’ll find over 170 new animals, from monkeys to toads, some of which have never appeared in a Rockstar game before. Some of these animals are native to Florida, while others are invasive species like the nine-banded armadillo. You’ll encounter these animals in the wild, but some also thrive in urban areas.
The basic structure for these animals is based on the one Rockstar developed for Red Dead Redemption 2, but it’s larger and improved. GTA 6’s fauna can exhibit iridescent, bioluminescent, and translucent colors, as well as various feather types, and their fur can get wet, matted with dirt, and clump together. And yes, you’ll be able to track down and hunt rare animals—Rockstar just hasn’t revealed which ones yet.
The weather in GTA 6 will be extreme

Florida’s microclimate is notorious, especially since the state is the only place in the US with a tropical climate zone. Rockstar promises GTA 6 fans even more extreme weather events of a more impressive scale, such as tropical storms and seasonal hurricanes. Depending on the weather conditions, phenomena like rainbows or puddles can dynamically appear on the map.
A separate system is dedicated to the wind, which affects things like debris, water waves, and blades of grass. With hurricanes, the game goes beyond simply generating dense clouds and strong winds. Players can observe how the water interacts with the architecture, from buildings to lampposts.
NPCs

We’ve already heard a lot about the revamped NPCs in GTA 6, who are supposed to offer extensive dialogue while reflecting the culture of their respective regions. We know that NPCs have nuances and that you can interact with them in new (and peaceful) ways. And we’ve already seen the incredible variety of game-generated NPCs.
Besides obvious details like clothing and hairstyles, the game will also generate NPCs with varying buttock and breast sizes. It goes even further: NPCs will also have different types of freckles, birthmarks, tans, and tattoos.
These are just some of the highlights from the report. We’ll learn all the rest at the latest when GTA 6 is released on November 19th.
