ChatGPT Images 2.0 introduces Thinking mode for image generation
OpenAI today released a new version of its image generator with intelligent features. ChatGPT Images 2.0 arrives a year after version 1.0 and promises professionally curated, end-to-end automation of visual tasks.
Images 2.0 can research information from the web and process it into detailed, production-ready graphics.
OpenAI also positions Images 2.0 as a full replacement for dedicated image editing apps, as it can remove backgrounds, transform aspect ratios, and output up to eight images simultaneously in 2K resolution.
GPT Images 2.0 is characterized by the creation of infographics and diagrams with significantly improved quality across a wider range of languages. It is also designed to implement instructions more precisely and better preserve the desired details.
Images 2.0 is available to all ChatGPT users, while the “Images with Thinking” mode is exclusive to the Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans.
